Wetsuits

Different wetsuits have different fits.

Thanks to the high elasticity of the materials, the more flexible wetsuits adapt better to the swimmer’s body than those with less elasticity.

If you’re choosing a wetsuit with less flexibility, you should select a size that fits well to your body.

We always recommend trying the wetsuit on to make sure that the fit feels right. However, should you have any questions, contact us and we’ll be happy to help you.

One piece wetsuits

When selecting the ideal wetsuit size, three measurements should be taken into account: chest circumference, height and weight. When in doubt, we recommend choosing the size that best fits your chest circumference, since it is important that the wetsuit is well- fitted in this area.

HIRU tops have 3 types of fits.

For the best jersey fit, take your measurements based on the diagram and compare your results with the following table.

When deciding on a size, please consider that our apparel fits snug, so we recommend ordering at least one size up if your body measurements are borderline or between sizes.

HIRU designs each product to adapt differently and take advantage of the intrinsic characteristics of the fabrics and materials used in each one.

Bibshort size guide

By following these simple steps, you will find the right shorts for racing, training or leisure rides. Adjust both the bottom and the straps snugly to the body so there are no wrinkles. You’ll experience a light, sticky feel.

Simulate a bike position for a few seconds and check for adequate mobility, then try pinching the fabric in the thigh area. If the fabric returns to its original position upon release, then it’s the right size.

Conversely, if you feel rubbing or constriction, or the seams or straps are too tight, try a larger size. The straps, the elastic bands or the lower part of the leg tend to roll up but can be easily returned to their place with a few small gestures.

The short’s fabric is designed to provide a slight compression effect, and it’s only effective if the fabric remains close to the body.

The Liquid Seam Gloves have liquid seams which prevent water from seeping into the panels, protecting your hands in the coldest conditions. With a 3 mm thickness and an ergonomic pattern, these gloves adapt perfectly to the position your hand will take while swimming in open water.

Does the Openwater count toward free shipping?

No. It's on sale, and sale and clearance items don't count toward the $200 free-shipping threshold. An order without $200 of full-price items ships for a flat $16.45.

How long does delivery take?

Ships direct from Orca's Australian supplier. Most orders arrive 4 to 7 business days after you order (longer to remote areas). Enter your postcode on this page for dates.

Can I return the Openwater?

Sale and clearance items are final sale, so they can't be returned for change of mind or sizing. Faulty, damaged or incorrect items are always covered.

Can I use the $20 sign-up code?

No. The $20 sign-up code isn't valid on sale or clearance items, and this is on sale. It works on full-price gear (first order, $100 or more).

How do I choose my size?

Use the ORCA Sizing guide on this page. Orca sizes by chest, height and weight; when in doubt, go by chest, because the suit has to fit well there.
